A multi-stop road trip becomes difficult long before it becomes impossible to map. RoadTripDesk is designed to help organize many places into travel days you can actually understand.

Plan more than the next waypoint

Add the places you want to visit and see them as one trip instead of a collection of separate directions. Stops can be reordered, moved between days and refined as the plan develops.

The route map stays connected to the stop list, so changing the itinerary does not mean maintaining a second version somewhere else.

See distance and driving time by day

A 4,000 km route is not very useful as one number when you are deciding whether Tuesday is too long. RoadTripDesk shows distance and estimated driving time at the day level so you can compare the workload across the trip.

Set a daily driving window and include breaks. If the route extends beyond the day, RoadTripDesk can add an automatic overnight unless you already have a planned overnight stop.

Move stops without rebuilding the trip

Plans change. Use stop controls to move a place up or down, move it to another day or reverse the route when you decide the entire journey works better in the opposite direction.

Important days can be locked while you experiment with other parts of the route.

Keep stop limits predictable

RoadTripDesk applies the same plan limits whether stops are added manually or imported from another file. If an imported route contains more points than a plan supports, the import is stopped before a partial trip is created and RoadTripDesk can point to the first plan that covers the route.

Combine routing with the itinerary

The best route order is not always the best travel plan. A museum may need three hours. A city may deserve two nights. A scenic stop may be worth arriving before sunset. RoadTripDesk keeps duration and overnight information beside the route so those decisions can influence the schedule.
