RoadTripDesk processes information needed to provide the trip-planning service, operate subscriptions and respond to people who contact us.

Information we may process

• Account information such as name, email address, country and subscription information.
• Trip content such as routes, stops, notes, dates, shared-trip permissions and related planning data.
• Technical information needed for security, error logging, service operation and abuse prevention.
• Support and feedback messages you send through this website or the RoadTripDesk application.

Why we use the information

We use information to provide and secure RoadTripDesk, save and synchronize trips, process subscriptions, send transactional emails, respond to support requests and improve the product.

Service providers

RoadTripDesk uses service providers for infrastructure and hosting, email delivery, payments, maps/routing/geocoding and accommodation or affiliate content. Those providers process information only as needed to deliver the relevant service and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Payments

Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by RoadTripDesk. RoadTripDesk keeps the account, subscription, invoice and payment references needed to operate paid plans and customer billing.

Retention and deletion

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the service, legal obligations, security and support. Account deletion and data-deletion processes are provided in the RoadTripDesk application and may also be requested through support.

You can manage your account in RoadTripDesk and ask questions about your personal data through the support form.

Analytics and advertising measurement

With your permission, RoadTripDesk may use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure website visits, clicks to signup, and account creation. Campaign labels from a link may be carried into the application to identify the source of a signup. Google tracking is not loaded until you allow analytics and ads. The same consent choice is shared with app.roadtripdesk.com.

RoadTripDesk also keeps limited first-party product analytics inside the application, such as whether an account creates a trip or calculates a route. Those product analytics do not copy trip addresses, route details or notes into the analytics log.

If you withdraw analytics and ads consent using Cookie settings, RoadTripDesk sends denied consent signals, removes first-party Google measurement cookies that are accessible to RoadTripDesk, and reloads the current page so the optional Google tag is no longer running on that page.
